When I was a kid, I rarely ate any spicy food. After the special training I arranged for myself in the secondary school, I gradually fall in love with spicy food . So glad that I can join the Fancook dinner this time, especially when it is held in a Sichuan-style restaurant.

Sichuan cuisine is definitely the best among all the spicy cuisine in China. The chef of Sichuan House used different types of chili (e.g. fresh/dried chili) to create different levels of spiciness.

For main course, we find the spicy boiled fish and deep-fried crab with chili, and the signature dish Spicy stir-fried shrimp.

The chef also arranges some non-spicy dishes for us to enjoy among all the spicy dishes. My personal favourite is boiled Chinese cabbage. Simple and refreshing. For the dessert, we have the cute custard panda bread.

Really have to mention that it is good for the body if we sometimes eat spicy food. Enjoy the heat and test your limit!

I wish I was able to eat Sichuan food- unfortunately my taste buds can’t handle the heat! The food looks delicious regardless 🙂
Try those not-so-spicy dishes then (e.g. 奇味粒粒雞 tastes a bit sweet/sour and still very delicious!) 🙂
