。天寶閣 – 菇菌盛宴。
流行Green Monday的時代，食素的人士越來越多，自問不是一個可以完全茹素的人，但食多了蔬菜，人也健康點，而菇菌絕對是在我的green list上的首三位之內。這天有幸來到飯局和一班食友一起品嚐菇菌盛宴，可知處理菇菌是一門學問，因菇類遇水便容易變壞，要處理得好，需要相當的耐性、細心和經驗。
In Green Monday’s generation, vegetarians became more and more popular. Personal it is difficult for me to be a vegetarians completely, but I have to confess that eating more greens makes me feel better. Mushroom is in the top 3 on my green list. So glad to have a chance last week to enjoy a Mushroom Feast at Celestial Count with a group of friends. Handling the mushrooms is an expertise, as the mushrooms will change gradually once they touch water. To get the mushrooms well prepared, it would be so important that the person has patience, care and experience.
Morel mushroom, Matsutake, Ganba, Hericium, etc. You will find some common mushroom you always see and those valuable that you have never seen. All courses on the menu show the hard work, efforts, experiences and skills. The highlight of the night is the Double-boiled Chicken Soup with Fresh Wild Mushrooms with 9 kinds of wild mushrooms: Fresh Bamboo Thalli, Matsutake, Termite Mushrooms, Black Truffle, Catathelasma, white Porcini, Morel, wild Wood Ear Fungus and Shitake. Bamboo Thalli is also named as the queen of mushrooms. It, containing lots of healthy minerals and vitamins, is always my favorite.
Another course worth to try is Pan-fried Beancurd coated with egg and topped with black truffle. Beancurd (tofu) with rich soy favour is produced by the restaurant. The truffle on top of the bean curd brought you the sensation of this tasty mushroom.
得獎菜 – 鴛鴦素千層，是讓人甚有驚喜的菜式，腐皮卷內包著菠菜，再配上豆腐和香菇，清新得來，味道十分平衡。食了一卷又一卷，豆腐也沒有放過。
Award-winning dish: Braised beancurd sheet rools with vegetables and mushrooms. The most surprising dish of the night. The sheet rolls, wrapped the spinach insdie, matched so well with the tofu and Shiitake mushroom. I couldn’t stop myself eating it.
甜品 – 木槺黑白芝麻糕，甜度適中，質感有點像馬拉糕，完全不會讓你有負擔的一道甜品，值得推介。
Dessert: Steamed black and white Sesame Sponge Cake. The sweetness was just ok with the texture of sponge cake. A dessert that you don’t taste any heaviness. Worth a try!
Of course there were some courses with meat. The theme of the night was mushroom so I don’t spend much here to introduce them one by one. The below ones are all tasted good and recommended.
