。Sorriso Italian Cuisine – 全新聖誕節下午茶。

一直都很喜歡到iSquare 裡的餐廳用餐,可以看著維港景食飯,總是讓人覺得很舒服。Sorriso便是其中一個比較常去的,據說十二月推出了新的下午茶餐單,今次趁聖誕節前來一試,又可以度過一個悠閒的下午。賣相十分精美的下午茶,廚師花了點心思,加入一些聖誕元素,如聖誕老人朱古力,和「聖誕快樂」朱古力牌。

Always prefer to have dinner at iSquare since it’s close to MTR station and you can enjoy the beautiful view of Victoria Harbour with a quiet ambiance. Sorriso is one of the restaurants I love to visit. Heard about the new Afternoon Tea Set for Christmas and New Year, which is available on all Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in December, I decided to come before Christmas holiday to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The presentation of the tea set was so nice with small touch of Christmas elements, such as Santa Claus chocolate and chocolate plate of “Merry Christmas”.

鹹點比較簡單,有煙三文魚酸忌廉法包、鵝肝多士、松露蘑菇卷和蘋果丹麥酥。鵝肝多士非常濃郁,廚師做酥點的功夫非常不錯,蘑菇酥層層酥脆,蘋果丹麥酥又鬆又脆,包著果醬,十分美味。

Savory items were some but delicious items, such as Smoked Salmon with sour cream, goose liver terrine, mushroom truffle vol au veng and apple danishes. Liked goose liver terrine the best with the rich flavour. Chef was keen on making pastry. The apple danishes and mushroom truffle vol au veng was so crispy and you could see the detailed layers.

甜點有兩層,頂層有無花果撻、鳥結糖、檸檬馬卡龍。頂層的無花果撻一來到便吸引了我的視線,清新的甜味,剛好中和了紅桑子的酸勁。檸檬馬卡龍味道非常突出,頂部的蛋白酥也很可口。

There were 2 layers of sweet and desserts. On the top shelf, there were fresh fig and raspberry tarts which caught my attention once the server brought us the tea set. The light sweetness of fig matched very well with the sourness of the raspberry. The taste of lemon macaroon was very outstanding and rich.

中層有可愛的聖誕老人朱古力,海鹽焦糖泡芙 和自家製白朱古力松露朱古力。 造型可愛,十分欣賞海鹽焦糖泡芙,面層香脆,一口咬下,滿滿的焦糖忌廉湧出來,十分美味。燕麥士多啤梨慕絲,酸甜的士多啤梨和石榴蓉,再著幼滑的慕絲,非常搭配,不消一會便食光了。

You would see the cute Santa Claus chocolate in the middle shelf together with the homemade white chocolate truffle and salty caramel profiteroles. Really adored the profiteroles as it was so crispy and the caramel cream burst out once you bite it. Oatmeal Strawberry Trifle was a good combination of cream and sour strawberry and pomegranate.

同場加映,下午茶餐牌上還有幾首甜點,這天心想多食一點甜,便選了芒果拿破崙配椰子雪葩。和冬日很相襯的黃色,椰子雪葩非常清新,芒果和忌廉很相配,拿破崙餅亦酥脆的很。儘管每次食拿破崙也有點狼狽,但正因那幼滑的忌廉和香脆的酥餅非常美味,真的讓我不得不愛上。

There are several items on the afternoon tea menu. Mango Napoleon with coconut sorbet was a light and refreshing one which has a yellow presentation matching the winter sunlight. Coconut sorbet was a very good one with nice sweetness but rich coconut flavour. Napoleon is sometimes considered as a dessert which is really difficult to be handled. However, the smoothness of cream and crispiness of the pastry made you not resist it. 🙂

有美景又有美食,如果聖誕節假期下午還未安排活動,這裡絕對是個不錯的選擇。
