。Bistronomique – 堅尼地城的寧靜晚餐。
自西港島線開通之後,越來越多人到西區覓食,小女子也不例外。堅尼地城,自上次踏足,已是一年多前的事了。記憶中就是海傍一帶有多間食肆,位置相對集中。這次來到爹核士街的Bistronomique,被安排在樓上用餐,燈光甚昏暗,但氣氛不錯。
More people including myself go to Western District to explore after the West Island line launches. Haven’t been to Kennedy Town for more than a year. The only thing I can recall is that there are a few nice restaurants nearby the harbour. So we went to Bistronomique on Davis Street to have dinner. We were arranged to be seated on the upper floor. The ambiance was quite dark with candle light but it was a nice dining environment.


這夜兩口子不太餓,也沒有叫太多。只是聽過侍者的推介,便點上了凱撒沙律,和兩道主食。凱撤沙律賣相非常吸引,大大的太陽蛋快要流下去的樣子。整棵生菜非常爽脆,配上蛋汁和沙律汁,特別醒胃。而香脆的麵包粒和煙肉亦更添美味。
Since we were not so hungry, we decided not to order the 6-course set dinner and took the recommendation from the server. Caesar salad, with the entire Romanian cabbage and a nice sunny-side-up, was a delicious starter of our dinner. While the egg yolk and salad sauce was so refreshing, the crispy beacon and bread was also very tasty.

侍者推介龍蝦意大利飯,但個人還是較喜歡意粉,便改選了龍蝦扁意粉。紅通通的賣相,龍蝦頭又多膏,加上海鮮汁底,非常濃郁的配搭。絕對推介。
Server recommended the Lobster risotto but I personally prefer pasta. Then we ordered the Lobster Linguine. With the red presentation and the nice seafood sauce, it was listed on top of my list of the dinner. So rich and tasty.


侍者推介了和牛和燒乳豬,見鄰桌的牛扒很有份量,所以還是選上了燒乳豬。香脆的乳豬脾配上酸菜、菠蘿和薯蓉,份量絕不遜牛扒。乳豬烤得恰到好處,內層的脂肪非常甘香。記緊配上酸菜食,減輕油膩感。Bistronomique水準確實不錯,大家不妨試試。
Choosing from Wagyu steak and suckling pig, I decided to go for suckling pig while I saw the huge steak at the table next to us. Crispy suckling pig pairing with sauerkraut, grilled pineapple and potato purée, was not smaller than the wagyu steak. However it was grilled to prefect and the fat was so yum. Better eat together with the sauerkraut to ease the greasiness.
Bistronomique was overall very good at food taste and service. Worth to go for a try.
