。The Captain’s House – 新奧爾良風格的鮮美。

尖沙咀厚福街一向食肆林立,而且在過去半年多了不少餐廳進駐,不禁吸引更多食客到來。去年開業的The Captain’s House,新奧爾良風格的海鮮籃成了話題之作。這天趁著同學們聚會,再次來訪,也好一試多點菜式。
More restaurants recently opened in Hau Fook street, Tsim Sha Tsui. This time I came here with a group of schoolmates to try the signature’s Seafood Platter, which the concept was from New Orleans, America.

前菜,三文魚他他和蟹餅。三文魚他他,簡單的把三文魚切粒,加入了洋葱和醬汁拌勻。今次的醬汁相對平常食到的酸了點,而且洋葱味甚濃。另一前菜蟹餅,個人較為欣賞,絲絲蟹肉,味道也濃郁。

To begin with, we ordered the Salmon Tartare and Crab Cake as starter. Salmin Tartare has been added quite an amount of red onions and tasted a bit sour than than the usual one. The crab cake, on the other hand, was more attractive  with plenty of crab meat and rich flavour.

主題作,熱船長海鮮拼盤,簡稱「海鮮籃」,選上了8款海鮮,包括蜆、翡翠螺、扇貝、青口、小龍蝦、大蝦、長腳蟹和八爪魚,一次試齊。(如覺得不滿足,還可加錢點龍蝦)這次選上了微辣的檸檬黑椒汁,很不錯的,就是少許辣味更讓你食不停,配上蒜蓉包更美味。海鮮籃裡其實還有馬鈴薯和肉腸,吸收了醬汁精華,美味。據說這概念來自新奧爾良的漁港工人,他們把每天剩餘的海鮮倒進袋裡,一起煮,亦成了當地菜之一。

The signature’s seafood platter (let me call it ‘Seafood Basket’) included 8 types of seafood, such as clams, scallops, mussels, shrimps, mini lobster and octopus. You may also add the whole lobster with additional cost. The basket was huge and tasty as the lemon pepper sauce was so refreshing pairing with the garlic bread. The potatoes and sausages in the basket also absorbed the sauce and the seafood flavour. Heard that this idea came from the fishermen in New Orleans as they used the seafood they caught to make this dish.

食過拼盤,友人仍非常有食力,便多點了一份亞拉斯卡蟹肉意粉。賣相不錯,不禁期待。意粉彈牙,配上鮮甜的蟹肉和三色椒,微辣的蕃茄醬,非常醒胃。我們點了的是大份,更可一起分享,不錯。這裡絕對適合下次再和有食力的朋友聚餐,不妨試試。

After enjoying the platter, friends are still able to manage some more food, so we ordered the Alaska Crab Meat Spaghetti. It had a nice presentation and made us look forward to it. The spaghetti was cooked to Al dente. It was a taste of excitement while the tomato sauce was a bit spicy but brought out the sweetness of the crab meat. This was a sharing portion, while normal portion is also available for one person serving. The Captain’s House is a place that would be suitable for small group gathering and I’m looking forward to my next visit.
