Dragon-i – All-you-can-eat Dim Sum

。Dragon-I – 近水樓台的點心放題。

在中環上班近兩年多了,每天總會走過Dragon-i,終於有機會來一試點心放題。餐牌上有近30款點心選擇,而且侍者會跟據入座人數入單,保証一個都不會少。

Walking pass Dragon-i every day when I go to work these 2 years. Even though I have heard about the Dim-Sum buffet, or you may say all-you-can-eat dim sum lunch, I have never come for a try. So glad to have my colleagues to try this with me this time. There are around 30 different dim sum on the menu. Server would place order according to the diners on the table , and make sure you would have enough to share.

今次共點了十五款點心,蝦餃燒賣不能少,也點了翠綠的菠菜餃 (真的很綠!)。其實食下去是滿滿的菠菜,十分鮮美,但菠菜蒸熟後真的很軟身。

We ordered 15 dimsum, and of course, we had shrimp dumplings and pork dumpling (Siao mai). These spinach dumplings were a surprise to us. (You see how green they were!) They were made by spinach inside and out. It tasted good and fresh, but it was also very soft. Be aware of that !

煎餃子賣相討好,肉汁也很豐富,小妹不小心,差點便把周圍的人濺得一臉都是。

Pan-fried dumplings looked golden crispy. They were so juicy that I almost split the juice onto everyone’s face. haha.

飲茶又怎會少了炸物?百花釀蟹箝竟在餐牌上,還要非常的爽口彈牙,真的忍不住想再叫。

How would you miss some deep-fried items when you go to yum cha (enjoy a Chinese dimsum lunch)? The deep-fried crab was so chewy and crunchy, and we were all surprise that it was listed on the menu. Couldn’t wait to have it again.

一道蟹肉竹笙灌湯餃,所有人都期待。足料的程度比得上所有酒樓,湯底清新,蟹肉豐富,加入了竹笙,增加清爽口感。

Soup dumplings with bamboo fungus and crab meat was the dimsum everyone looked forward to. It was filled with lots of ingredients, full of crab meat and bamboo fungus that you may not find in a formal Chinese restaurant.  Soup was light but with rich crab flavour.

腸粉類亦見水準,韮黃鮮蝦腸晶瑩剔透,口感幼滑,蝦也很有份量,非常美味。素菜卷也以腸粉包著,內裡的香脆和外層的滑溜成了對比,值得再試。

Rice rolls were also in pretty good quality. Chive and shrimp rice rolls were crystal clear and tasted very smooth. Shrimps were fresh and big. On the other hand, the vegetarian rice rolls were also very nice as the spring rolls inside were so crispy and made a contrast with the smooth rice rolls. Worth to try.

甜品蓮蓉煎堆仔,值得一試。不止炸得香脆,還有滑溜的蓮蓉,甜度適中。小妹忍不住食多了一粒,還想追加。

Lotus seed paste deep-fried dumplings, the dessert, was another must-try. It was at its perfect texture, a bit sticky and crispy. The sweetness was also at its right balance. I couldn’t stop myself to eat 2 and wanted to order more.

每天都經過的這個地方,原來有這麼好的點心供應。其實放慢一點腳步走,可能我會看得仔細一點吧。

It is a place that I walk pass every day but I didn’t pay much attention at it. Perhaps I should walk a bit slower and look a bit closer.
